We hope we have conveyed in these pages something of our philosophy, which is the framework through which we integrate the technical side of ultrasound imaging with the clinical aspects of embryonic and fetal examinations. In the last twenty years, ultrasound imaging has taught us more about fetal growth and development than physicians have learned during the the five hundred years since Leonardo penned his drawings of a fetus in utero.

Prenatal diagnosis, especially wellness testing, is vital to expectant couples. It is difficult to do well. Our examinations are interactive, problem oriented, and structured in the form of a traditional medical physical examination. We try to address the concerns of our patients and their physicians. We all have a common goal of a healthy baby, developed to his or her full potential.
